Since 1996, PME Power Systems Group has been supporting the UK and Ireland marine industry with reliable propulsion and power solutions. As the official importer for MAN marine engines, genuine MAN spare parts and NANNI generators, PME Group works with customers across the commercial, leisure, defence and specialist marine sectors.
With decades of experience in marine engineering, we understand the demands placed on vessels and their power systems. Our focus is on providing proven products backed by knowledgeable people, practical advice and responsive support.
From our offices in Plymouth and Poole, we provide engine sales, technical support, genuine spare parts and aftersales care, helping customers through every stage of an engine’s life, from specification and commissioning to servicing and ongoing maintenance.
Our experienced team works closely with customers, boat builders, operators and our authorised dealer network to help ensure marine engines and power systems continue to perform reliably throughout their working life.
Alongside MAN marine engines and NANNI generators, PME Group supplies products from Aventics, allowing us to provide a broader range of marine power and control solutions.

1996
Founded PME Power Systems Group.
From its beginnings in 1996 to becoming MAN’s official UK & Ireland importer, PME Group has grown through three decades of experience in marine power. Explore the key milestones that have shaped PME Group and its development as a trusted supplier of marine engines, generators and power solutions.
2008
PME Group opened its original Poole premises, creating a dedicated base for the growing business and strengthening its ability to support customers and the marine industry from the South Coast.
2014
PME Group moved into new premises in Poole, providing additional space and facilities to support the continued growth of the company and its expanding marine engine operations.
2016
PME Group opened its Grimsby premises, extending the company’s presence and strengthening its ability to serve customers and marine businesses across the UK.
PME Group was appointed as MAN’s official UK & Ireland importer, marking a major milestone in the company’s history and establishing a long-term partnership supporting customers with MAN marine engines, parts and technical expertise.
2019
PME Group opened its Barn Close headquarters in Plymouth, forming a new base for its growing operations and providing the space needed to support customers, dealers and its expanding product portfolio.
2024
PME Group relocated around the corner to Rowdown House in Plymouth, moving into a new headquarters to support the continued development of the business and its growing team and operations.
2026
PME Group expanded its marine power portfolio with NANNI generators, adding a new range of generator solutions to complement its existing engine and power systems offering.
Dec-26
PME Group celebrates 30 years of business and 30 years of partnership with MAN. The milestone marks three decades of development, collaboration and commitment to providing marine power solutions to customers across the UK and Ireland.
